After studying Law at Exeter University, Hannah began her career in Planning at Mid Devon District Council. Over five years Hannah progressed to a Principal Planning Officer and completed a Masters in Planning from Plymouth University. Working for a Local Authority, Hannah gained invaluable knowledge about the operation of Local Authorities and learnt about all aspects of planning, dealing with a wide range of minor and major planning applications.

Hannah moved to the private sector in 2019 and joined XL Planning Ltd. During her time at XL Planning, Hannah established good relationships with many South West Local Authorities and  built a reputation for going the extra mile for her clients, giving carefully considered advice and successfully navigating the planning system. 

In 2023 Hannah started HC Planning Ltd. Founded with a passion for providing an excellent service to her clients, Hannah prides herself on giving quality, impartial and friendly planning advice. Hannah works on all types of planning applications from minor to major schemes, including residential and commercial development, a wide range rural developments, along with Gypsy and Traveller site applications. Hannah works for both private clients and developers and predominantly covers the South West of England.  

In her free time Hannah is usually found on Dartmoor, walking her whippet Winston, running, riding or swimming!
